Can be Cigarette Smoking a Killer?

No one in the world think that cigarette smoking is a killer and nicotine is a drug addiction. And there is no law for to stop cigarette companies to add any legal substance to the fag for to accelerate the passage of nicotine to the brain to get a quick high or mask the astringent smoking sensation of the smoker. In other words there is no regulation for any standards for their products to meet.

Tobacco Companies have two main aims: firstly, to maintain the level of current cheap cigarettes smokers; and secondly to attract more and more people for to maintain their profits all the time. In our days cigarettes became very ordinary and harmless, they are displayed for sale just as sweets or chocolates.

The World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control has endorsed an idea from the British government of hitting the tobacco industry where it hurts most in a novel concept of plain "packaging" of cigarettes. The WHO intends to set to all cigarette packs a homogenous packing, for example all packs are to be identical except for the brand name, printed in standard font, no distinguishing features of color, logos or box shapes or sizes, nothing but the brand and the health warning.

Researchers said that if the cigarettes packs will be not so attractive then not so many people will smoke. They consider that less attractive cigarettes packs, stylish and glamorous than the original pack will make people to quit or never try. Psychologically they concluded that cigarettes from the plain packs would be less satisfying and of lower quality.
